Quick Setup Wizard
The Quick Setup wizard walks a new tenant administrator through the minimum configuration needed before procurement work can begin. It is shown automatically the first time an administrator logs in, and can be re-opened at any time at /quick-setup.
Every step can be skipped and revisited later from the relevant settings page. Skipping does not block the next step.
Where to find it
- Automatically opens on first login for tenant administrators.
- Manually: navigate to Quick Setup from the main menu, or go directly to
/quick-setup.
The steps
The wizard has eight steps. A progress strip at the top shows the current step, completed steps (green) and skipped steps (orange).
1. Welcome
A short introduction that lists what will be configured: Organization, Projects & Locations and Suppliers. A checkbox "Don't show this setup wizard again" dismisses the wizard so it stops auto-launching on login.
2. Organization Profile
Confirms the Organization Name (read-only — this is the tenant name) and links out to Organization settings where more advanced options such as email security and 2FA requirements can be configured.
3. Personal Profile
The administrator fills in their own contact details: First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email (read-only), Company Name, Website, Country/Region, State, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, Postal Code.
4. Add Locations
Add one or more physical locations — offices, warehouses, or project sites — that the organization works from. For each location, fill in Location Name, City, Country, Region, Code and Phone Number. Use Add another location to add as many as needed before moving on.
5. Create Your First Project
Capture the first project the user wants to procure against: Project Name, Internal Project Number, Country, Currency, Start Date, End Date, Estimated Budget and Company.
You can add more projects later from Projects. See the Projects guide for the full set of project fields.
6. Invite Suppliers
Send invitation e-mails to one or more suppliers. For each supplier enter their Email and Contact Name. Each supplier receives an invitation message with instructions to create their account and connect to the tenant.
7. Catalog Items
Add a few items (materials or services) to seed the catalog. For each item enter Material Number, Description, Material Type (Material / Service / Consumable / Spare Part), Unit of Measure and Material Group. Bulk-import from CSV is available later in Catalog Items — see the catalog items guide.
8. Finish
Shows a summary of what was created during the wizard (locations, projects, suppliers, items). Click Go to Dashboard to exit the wizard and start working.
Skipping steps and exiting
- Skip this step (below the Next button) advances without saving the current step. The step is marked as skipped on the progress strip.
- Back returns to the previous step. Data already entered on the current step is not saved unless Next was clicked.
- Skip entire setup (only on the Welcome step) closes the wizard immediately. If "Don't show this setup wizard again" was ticked, the wizard will not auto-launch next login.
Permissions
The wizard is only available to users with the Tenants / View permission — typically the tenant administrator. End users do not see it.
After the wizard
Everything created in the wizard can be edited later through the matching pages:
- Organization profile → Tenant Settings (see tenant settings)
- Locations → Locations
- Projects → Projects
- Suppliers → Adding a new supplier
- Catalog items → Catalog items
