WBS Elements

WBS Elements (Work Breakdown Structure) are used to divide a project into smaller, manageable parts. They help organize project budgets, responsibilities, and procurement activities.

Each WBS element can represent:

  • a project phase
  • a department activity
  • a specific task or cost center

Creating a WBS Element

  1. Open the project from the Projects list.
  2. Click Add WBS Element.
  3. Fill in the required information.
  4. Click Create.


The WBS element will then be added to the project.
